Betting made easy

Could someone please explain to me the how different bets work, such as yankee, super yankee, double, trebles, trixies etc? Or even if you could direct me to a 'betting for dummies' type website that would be a great help! I need to know about all the different types of bets that are availiable and I don't really undertsand any of them! I'm so confused! Please, someone, HELP!! Thank You!

Perhaps I should add..example yankee is 4 bets eg 4 different horses in 4 different races is a total of 11 bets being 1 accumulator, 4 trebles and 6 doubles. So if say horses 1 and 2 win but the other 2 lose you have 1 winning bet ( 1 and 2 double) if 1,2 and 3 win then you have a treble winner and 3 double winners ( 1and 2,1and 3,2 and 3). If all four win then you have all the 11 bets paying out.Phew
The one they missed, a Carpet. Carpet is 3 to 1 because it took me three months in prison to make one carpet.
