Hello! I searched the title of a song from a dance compilation 90s. I think it was written on the tape Dance 93 but I am not sure... The song was sung by a girl group and contained sax or trumpet in it from the beginning. One side of the tape began with the song The sign of Ace of Base but what was special is that it was preceded by a rocket launch . Please help me find the song! Thank you :)

The sign is really the song on the compilation I seek. Unfortunately, none of the songs on the list that you give me is the one I want... Thanks anyways! :)
Are you sure it's not All That She Wants by Ace of Base. That has sax in it
Question Author
No the song I'm talking begins immediately with sax and it plays throughout the song. It is a little known song, because I have a very good knowledge of music ;-)
Not that good obviously lol. Only teasing. :)
The Sign was from late 1993 so if it was a compilation it would have been 1993 or 1994. I've looked at the tracks on about 10 dance compilations from that time and can see ones featuring All That She Wants and another Ace of Base track but not The Sign
are you searching for the girl group song title?
Mr Saxobeat?

Yes we're looking for the sax song- the Ace of Base reference is just to tell us the first track on the album. I thought of Touch and Go but their single was 1998
I think it must be far more obscure than Mr Saxobeat or melv9 would know it given her very good knowledge of music
True. I think Mr Saxobeat is newer too to be honest

this is the 3rd track on the The 50 Best Pop Singles Of 1994 the sign by ace of base is no.2 it has a trumpet or sax playing through it
Is it the one with loads of women playing trumpets or sax in the video?
Alex Guadino, Destination Unknown?
Now 27, released 1994. The first track is The Sign.

Have a look at the playlist, you might find what you're looking for

There's also this album to look through:

Ace Of Base is not on it, but the song you want might be.

Do you have any idea of any lyrics, or maybe what the video was like?

I also have a very good knowledge of music, but can't think of this one! I can't find it on any of the 1990s dance compilations I have.
Doop is on that one, but that is probably far too well known. I'm expecting it to be more obscure than this
You can hear all the Now 27 tracks on here but there is no rocket sound and none of the songs seem to meet the description of sax and girls (uban cookie collective is the nearest)

This one possibly? The lyrics don't kick in right away, but does have something like a rocket launch

Might be a bit closer with this
