I got taught when I volunteered at a hospice as quite a few there crocheted, often stuff to sell in the hospice shop to help raise money.
I tried to get back into it a while back but seem to have completely lost the knack! I've tried to go back to more little basics with knitting as my hands can't hack it but annoying I can't knit like I used too, need more patience to do things smaller and slower :) I find it takes a bit to get into the tension, it becomes automatic in the end and you can do it without thinking. I have some wool in for a project for my nephew but need to get myself back up to scratch again first. Found some lovely wools too in a local market. |
| Anyone know of a website for crafters of patchwork/quilting? Ive a profile on Ravelry which caters for all things knitting/crochet & its an excellent source of free patterns but as yet ive not... |
