Prom dresses

Does anyone know of any shops which sell one-off ball gowns that would be ideal from a prom? I live in Essex but shops in Essex or London would be fine hunnybunch (Sat 21:56 12/Mar/05)

libertie		(Mon 11:39 14/Mar/05) Pilchard beat me to it, I too was going to suggest Debenhams, also if you have a TK Max nearby try them - they sometimes have georgeous designer evening / prom dresses at hugely reduced prices!
