Digital camera

I am looking for a new camera but want one with a separate viewfinder. I'm fed up not being able to see the subject when taking shots in bright sunlight.Have searched but cannot find any .Anyone got any ideas.

Keep looking. There are quite a few available that incorporate what looks at first glance like an optical viewfinder, but is actually a miniature LCD display, separate from the main screen. There's usually a switch option between viewfinder and main screen. The advantage with the viewfinder is that sunlight is less of a problem, you still see what you're actually going to take, and it uses a lot less battery power than the main screen.
Failing that, there are also folding shades available to fit most makes of camera main screens, like this one.
