Where can i buy a very loud audible battery operated fire alarm for a joinery environment

Assuming standard smoke detectors suffer nuisance alarms due to the wood dust, I would recommend the use of a heat alarm. Most are mains powered, but a few are available as battery powered only – see here for an example:-

The down side is that they are not as sensitive in detecting fire as a smoke alarm and need to reach over 50°C as a result of heat from the fire before they will alarm.

They are typically recommended for use in kitchens, where normal smoke alarms would suffer false alarms.
