Bid TV

Has anyone bought anything from this shopping channel? The delivery cost seems to be expensive at £7.99 per item which is putting me off a bit.

Last thing I bought from them was a memory foam mattress for just over £35. Considering that these thing retail for c £90 (cheapest I've seen) i didn't grudge the delivery charge.

yes i have like scotgal you have to weigh up the product to the postage, thats how they make there money!!!!

I have but I take the delivery charge into account when seeing how much of a bargain the item is. Most of the time the items are good bargains with good delivery.

We bought some kitchen items - and included the p and p of £8.99 and the £1.50 for the phone call in the price - we still feel that we got a bargain so are quite happy - It is annoying when they say it will only cost you x pounds when you have to add £10 to this.

get annoyed when they sell mugs at 1.99 to find you are actually paying £10.00 before u start!!!!!

Don't forget tubeway the most strenuous part of this transaction is lifting the phone and signing for your parcel when it's delivered. Well worth a tenner.

I suppose if it is a relatively expensive item which has been drastically reduced then it doesnt seem so bad. I am viewing bid tv at the moment and am racking my brains to name the male presenter.

If you go to their web site to buy, you save the cost of the phonecall. You can also check out their clearence offers. We bought mum-in-law a matress topper from them. It cost us £14 to post it to her. Their postage is expensive on small items, but cheap on the bigger ones. I`ve bought a lot of things from Bid-Up & Price Drop.
