poor postal service

i have ordered 4 items from various web sites in the last 6 months (amazon etc) and two of those items have never turned up ,the site has sent the e-mail "your order has been dispatched" and when told them not received after 2 weeks they have resent or refunded,no prob there, but seems the postal service is lacking somewhat and it puts me off ordering from the net again
anyone else had this prob happening more and more

Recently we’ve had a different postman and we seem to be getting a lot of other peoples letters so won’t be surprised if our letters end up in Timbuktu, but I’ve still been getting the stuff I’ve ordered of eBay even if they are a little late but then that may be the sellers!
