wee boys!

Can anyone help? I'm looking for presents for my nephews, aged 4 and 6. As I was a little girl, and don't have any boys myself, I don't have a clue was cool young men want these days. Any ideas? I'd be looking to spend up to 50 on each of them (but would happily spend less...). TIA

4 and 6 yr olds like spiderman alot so any toys like that is a good move. You really dont need to spend fifty quid each on that age group as it would be too much.

A remote control car for the 6 yr old would be good but bear in mind that they are close in age and will want each others gifts. try something similar but suitable for their own ages.

or get one big present between the two of them for the garden like a large trampoline. they'd adore that
50 on each seems like an awful lot! how about some of the horrible science things in the argos cat.? although they might be slightly old for them.
i think the remote control car is a good idea.

ah, its not a lot really. They are my only nephews and they are the apple of my eye! Also, I don't see them much due to geography and like to firmly establish myself as a great aunt...
go for the trampoline then with the weather cover. i brought one for my friends kids and they are always on it. a 3 yr old, a 6 yr old and a 9 yr old.
As stocking fillers, how about these new LED wind up torches which don't need either light bulbs or batteries, so they literally last a lifetime. You wind them up for about 30 seconds and they give enough light for 30 minutes. Any good hardware store will sell them (try Robert Dyas) or electrical shops such as Currys, etc.

that's so strange! my boyfriends dad gave us three of those torches at the weekend. I suspected we'd never use them, but when i blew a fuse last night they were greatly appreciated!!
I have three nephews in the same age group and they are really into Transformers "Robots in Disguise" and Power Rangers, some of the larger ones are around 50.00 but the Star Wars MIlenium Falcon one is really good value as you get three in one for 30.00.
I also agree with the trampoline idea, if they have room in the garden and parents agree, kids next door to me keep "bouncing" for hours on end, it is a fair size though, so 100 should do it I presume.
