Are the shops open on boxing day?

I think most of them are going to be closed as it is a Bank Holiday, certainly supermarkets around here won't be opening, however my local Lidl says it will be open from midday until 6pm.

sainsburys are giving out leaflets saying they will be closed, but my local co-op is staying open. Also, Lakeside Shopping Centre is opening for boxing day, so maybe one near you will be.

Most major shopping centres and cities/large town centres are open.

All sheds, e.g.B&Q, Comet, PC World etc will also be open.

Apparently some Iceland Stores are open from 10am-6pm but may depend upon area.

depends what you mean by boxing day usually on 26th but this year will be 27th....
