Are the shops open on boxing day?

Jules001		(Thu 11:55 22/Dec/05) I think most of them are going to be closed as it is a Bank Holiday, certainly supermarkets around here won't be opening, however my local Lidl says it will be open from midday until 6pm.
boobesque		(Thu 12:53 22/Dec/05) sainsburys are giving out leaflets saying they will be closed, but my local co-op is staying open. Also, Lakeside Shopping Centre is opening for boxing day, so maybe one near you will be.
newquizzer		(Thu 13:18 22/Dec/05) Most major shopping centres and cities/large town centres are open. All sheds, e.g.B&Q, Comet, PC World etc will also be open.
gpb		(Thu 18:11 22/Dec/05) Apparently some Iceland Stores are open from 10am-6pm but may depend upon area.
pega		(Thu 21:22 22/Dec/05) depends what you mean by boxing day usually on 26th but this year will be 27th....
