i orderred an item off ebay, it was sent tracked, myhermes driver said he delivered it 3 days ago but he/she is a liar , it was not delivered to me ( personally ) or even to my apt.

indeed myhermes deliver a parcel say twice every month on average but they didnt dliver this one.

spoke and sent emails to myhermes customer support but all i get is ( get back to the shipper )

who is the " shipper "? the seller from ebay ? why tell me to contact them , the seller provided tracked parcel and indeed the parcel was tracked to myhermes depot.

what can be done here ?

Ask Hermes for proof of delivery. If they have left it then perhaps it has been pinched. How do you know they are telling lies?
Raise a non-delivery dispute with Ebay.
Ye, I think the matter is for the seller to sort out with hermes
The seller has the contract with Hermes, not you. It is for the seller to sort out, and if it isn't he should send another one or give you a full refund.
Are Hermes parcels not tracked ?

Do they require a signature on arrival ?
DD has said it was sent tracked, mikey
Sometimes the delivery people just scribble a signature
Hermes will only deal with the person or company who sent the parcel not the recipient. I try not to use them.

have emailed hermes twice in 2 days ( no reply as yet ) told them that i didnt recieve parcel. seller on ebay states parcel was recieved and a signature was taken , lol lies and they have been caught out , why ? because on first original email hemres said driver threw parcel up to my window ( i live on upper apartment with balcony) then ebay seller comes back to me and states there was a signature given. will raise it to management in myhermes/complaints dept
I would take the advice of people on here and leave it for ebay to sort out with the seller. Just file a complaint with ebay and ask for a refund. Or maybe try paypal
Do you read the replies to your threads? Hermes will not deal with you as you are not their client - the seller is.

Let eBay deal with it - you will either get the item or a full refund

this is the reply i got from ebay -

Customer Service has made a final decision.
The seller provided tracking information that shows the item was delivered to your address.
Final decision:
A refund won't be issued for this case.

this is the 3-4th item that has went missing in about 5 years since i have been buying from ebay. i have a 5 star rating . so the driver said he delivered it and everything is ok . we all know that some of these drivers see a shoe box sized parcel and steal it or even throw it at your doorstep without a signature or scribble a signature themselves but there seems little protection for the buyers !!
Seems reasonable for them to supply you with the tracking info or at least who signed the POD.
How much was the item?
Has the seller provided you with a copy of the signed for receipt?
How did you pay?
Question Author
i paid via paypal
item was shoes £29.99
seller did not provide me with any signature or anything
Email the seller and ask for a copy of the proof of delivery.
If you get no reply after 5 days send a registered letter.
