Just to say your comment on the online shopping thread has cheered me up no end. Was feeling a bit down today nothing major just work stuff.
I rejoined AB last year and what a distraction it is from work.
So keep up the good work everyone as believe me this place keeps you sane lol

Cazza...if you think this place keeps you sane...there is no hope for you.... but we'll keep praying...... ;-)...Gx

What was it that sandy said?
If only this had been put as an answer on the same thread
we would have known!
:o(
i did a search for sandy's answers and it was worth while :-)

We wouldn't because the thread has gone - it was spam.
It was funny ,yes.
I daresay Baldric missed it because he was ironing a shirt......x

You IRON Shirts ????
Baldric.....believe it or not I love ironing shirts....after MrG died I would drag in passers by....or the postie....milkman.....just to rip off their shirts and iron them to perfection......☺
What is an iron? I have not got one of them.

I posted on the shopping thread this morning but when I went back to it minutes ago it would seem to have spontaneously combusted.

Gness I work in a betting shop lol believe me this is pure escapism.
An iron is a kind of boat shaped metal and plastic contraption that blows up at least once a year....just like my hair dryer did this morning.....luckily I was able to iron dry the remaining wet hair.....☺
Ah....I see, Cazza....I like my local betting shop.....the lads are great fun but there are some odd customers....☺
knowing my luck doris's iron will blow up now ... she's just had a birthday
When's your birthday, Ael?.....I'll mention it to Doris....☺
aelmpvw - maybe Doris will hold out so that she can get a new Iron for Xmas.

My parents were married on the 18th of December 1962. At the time of their 25th anniversary my dad came home from his work (British Rail - remember them?) with a bag and she was pleasantly surprised and, probably, suspicious. It was a frozen turkey that she later discovered that he had won in a raffle. I was never told exactly what was said but my mum could sulk for weeks if she was annoyed enough.

You dragged them in to do what G ?? xx ;0)
As well as ironing shirts, Slappy?.....Huh! You think I'm saying on here?............☺
G's milkman delivered more than milk !!!!!!
Ooo...he did, Anne.....there's cream....eggs....bread..... ;-)
