In all the supermarkets i'd have thought. There are several brands, particularly those designed for babies.

right prudie - I did look in Sainsbury online there but nothing came up. I will look when next in the actual store.
Lots of people with allergies etc swear by Soap Nuts - you use about 6 in a small mesh bag.

Not sure where else they are available, think Ocado stock some though.

thanks for that link Mamy - had a nosey - I need the hypo detergent for my smalls as I think the normal washing powder are involved in skin irritation that has been going on for a year now - I am pretty much at the end of my tether with it.

Sounds awfully uncomfortable JJ - hope you find a solution.

Has the GP confirmed that's what may be the cause?
Question Author
no - don't like anybody looking at my bits. LOL as usual I am trying every lotion and potion there is in the pharmacy
You know what I'm going to say don't you?

Doctors see 'bits' every single day - it's their job, go and see someone.

Please.
You really should let your GP have a look. I always think to myself I haven't got anything he/she hasn't seen a million times. If it's driving you nuts and making you so uncomfortable, you really should lie back and think of England.

well i'll give the hypo detergent a chance when I get it. I have bought new underwear and will try new ones every day for a week and see if I improve compared to the washed ones. Sorry to be detailed here - did think it should have been in body and soul.
Don't be sorry - it is likely something easily solved if you seek advice.

Take care.
I started using Surcare for my personal laundry a few years ago as I became sensitive to the usual products I used. Not had any trouble since, I use the powder and the fabric conditioner the rest of the family use the other stuff.
I usually find it in Sainsbury or Asda
conn. find a female pharmacist, describe your symptoms, they may be able to help,
jj make sure you use unperfumed soap when washing your 'bits'.
Question Author
Thanks all - I have been to the pharmacist about 4 times - just there on Wed and I am trying a different cream.

ladybirder - have been using unperfumed products for years - well Simple shower gel for the simple girl LOL and pharmacist has advised another gel.
go on conn. find a female gp.

Hi Anne - sometimes this thing clears up and I get a bit of peace. But what happens since it takes 2-3 weeks to get a doctor's appointment that's the time it clears up and so I would feel a fraud if she could see nothing.
if it keeps coming back conn. it needs to be investigated, please see gp.
