I ordered my shopping to be delivered last night (Thursday). Never arrived, phoned their call centre in South Africa, very unhelpful. To cut a long story short, after many calls by me today I tracked my shopping down, was told it would be delivered this Evening. Never arrived AGAIN.

I always use Sainsbury but thought I would have a change. Big Mistake !

Just ordered with Sainsbury. Very bad show Asda.

I'd stick with Sainsbury if you have had no probs with them before. Personally Asda's 'we are better than everyone else' advertising campaign makes me so cross I refuse to ever shop there. Hope you get apology and at least a bunch of flowers for the inconvenience.

Jon at least the reviewer got a phone call from the driver,I got nothing, it was only my detective work that found what store the shopping was coming from.

Isla, yes - the call centre is in South Africa, but is a free phone number. Fusion - phone the call centre and ask them to refund your delivery charge, they might even give you a little more if you persist politely

Yes Isla it is in S.Africa. The call centre girl said to me at 10.30 at night 'good morning Sue'.

Alwaysconfused, I still never got my shopping and it's now Saturday evening. Not bothering no more but will ring Head Office on Monday and make a complaint.

Just an update.

I am still waiting for my refund on the shopping that never turned up.

This is now getting silly. I am still waiting for my refund for the shopping that was never delivered. Phoned the call centre based in S.Africa today, no help. So rang head office in Leeds, they said they could not help as all refunds are done through call centre in S.Africa.

This has been ongoing since 30th October.


Do you think Trading Standards would help ?
I sometimes use their shopping deliveries and have no problems - maybe a couple of stupid substitutions

If you have tried phoning and getting nowhere I would send them a letter and aim it at their customer complaints department.

Sainsbury don't take your money until you have signed for your shopping.

Don't use Tesco.
This is a true story and I have the paperwork to prove it.
I once ordered a Sure deodorant and they didn't have one, so as a substitute they sent me a turnip.

I once had a suggested substitute from Tesco for a packet of plasters to replace plain flour.
Fusion, I bet your Yorkshire puddings would have been, erm, interesting lol
mrs overkill, I have trouble rubbing those turnips under my arms.
Murraymints, I have just sent an email to the address you gave me for Asda. Lets see if I get any results. Still no refund in my account today.
