Hi guys
I have to buy something for a middle aged man. In the past I have bought quirky stuff which he loves so it puts the onus on me each year to do the same. To give you an idea , last year I bought him a Harry Potter wand that was a remote control for the TV and the previous year a beanie beard.
Any cool, quirky ideas what I can get him this year?

My budget is up to £50 and he is a cool, funny, gadget-geek, quirky guy. He likes cooking but I have also in the past bought his a pasta machine, sloe gin set and a steak slate. He likes wine and beer so things like a corkcicle I have also bought him.

Cheers in advance

Thanks guys

A chap can't have too many belts I always think, and really good ones can be pricey. A nice top quality Italian one should be well received.
Males are not hard to buy for. Get some socks to replace the joke, shrink every use/wash ones, that are flogged to us these days. Forget cool/quirky/gadgety.

Otherwise browse one of the weird sites one finds on the web that supply gimmicky stuff.
Some of these. They always make me smile...

Thanks guys. Especially for the links. I already have an account with firebox, noths and iwwot (all superb websites). Will have a look on Hawkin - cheers :-)
