Thanks to everyone who had a go at the Hastings Sierra Leone Friendship Link's winter quiz on a Sports & Games theme. It raised over £600 for the maternity centre in Hastings Village. Frank Eastham of Chorley, Lynne Porter of Tring and the Buchans of Hastings all scored 74/75 and share the prize money. See www.hastings

Just a single word - 100 clues all answers have been top 10 uk singles with one word titles - A blast from the past in some ways...
Closing date 18th March, as its a one off suggest a donation of £2 but at your discretion obviously. Prize £10 -1st and £5 at random.
Cheques payable to Toft Peoples Hall or CAM, whichever you prefer but not to me please.
Send your donation and a SAE - normal size is fine, to
Diane Wakeling, 3 Lark Rise, Hardwick, Cambs CB23 7XZ or if you prefer you can obtain an email copy from [email protected] and can pay on return, I would prefer postal requests as I can then send the cheques through a little earlier, but its up to you.

There is still time to enter the 3D Cr4osswords championship series. Just Google '3D Crosswords' to find the puzzle calendar with 12 monthly croswords.
