I have never used anything other than Philips razors and rate them highly - so does Which? Of the top ten Best Buys, six are Philips.
Some from the Powertouch and Aquatouch range are Best Buys at £80 and £50. These can also be used "wet" with foam or gel, if you wish.
I use a Philips Norelco 7310XL which I picked up in Walmart on special for $30 when I was last in the States.
This is the best shaver I've ever had ...fully washable head, three 'lift and cut' cutters. One of my favourite things about it is that it's dead quiet.
You could probably find one on Amazon or something, it works/charges fine with a UK adaptor.
