Testing Generic Medications

Are there any laboratorys in the U.K who would be able to test generic medications to see if they actually contact the active ingredient the " official " medication does?

I ordered some from India and I am worried they are fake.

Don't order from outside the UK is the answer, is it worth the risk to save a few £s. ? There are places in the world that supply fake drugs.
You can get an analysis done but it would cost £100s it is not cheap ! I know as I am an analytical chemist by training retired now.
Is it a med that would be on prescription in the UK?
Did you see the program on buying meds on the net? They had brick dust, plaster, lead, house paint, other meds, all sorts of stuff in them, much of it toxic. Why would you risk your health?
