Prom suit dilemma?

My sons got a beautiful charcoal skinny suit for his prom tommorow night :) He's got brown brouges.Brown belt and black tie. However he wants to wear a blue hanky in his suit pocket! I think he looks daft but his girlfriend insists he wear it as the colour matches her dress. What do you guys think?

If he's going to wear brown shoes with a charcoal suit, a blue hanky won't make much difference.

this is hardly a dilemma is it? it's up to him what he wears surely and if you insist he doesn't they he could just put it in his pocket till he leaves!

I was a bit iffy about the brown shoe's too but they look brilliant. I always thought your hanky was the same colour as your tie? Very true tenrec. Its his night not mine! A proms a bigger version of the school disco nibble. Great for the kids not so great for my purse x
