Bike tracker

My husband does a lot of off road mountain biking, although he always takes a phone, often the areas he rides has no mobile signal. Does anyone know if there is any device available like a tracker, that could tell me where he is in case of emergency and he cant use a mobile? Thanks

Rojash, that would still need a mobile phone signal for Mrs Cars to track her husband. If he has a phone with built in GPS and there is a signal there is tracker software that you can use. For example find my phone on the iPhone. it would need to be activated on his phone and you would then log into his account to find him.

I can't think of a way without a mobile signal that you would be able to get the GPS information from his "equipment" to tell you where he is.
