i did exactly that yesterday! You can exchange or get a refund in ANY M&S as long as you have your till receipt.
|
|
If you have a receipt you can get either exchange or refund (dependent on date on receipt) at any M&S Store, but you cannot exchange goods bought from an 'outlet' as they have to be returned to same store. If no receipt, I believe you can still exchange but not entirely sure.

Little story here....
I was in BHS the other week and crying because I didn't want to buy swimwear...I know a bit sad at 42 but following surgery for cancer I feel fat [size 20]. My mate didn't know what to do with me so took me home. Fast forward a week and I went to M&S 'manned up' and told an assistant my fears [of looking like the proverbial beached whale etc. She was amazing....my own personal shopper no less. She waited while I tried stuff on and chose swimwear for me. I'm still not looking forward to laying round the pool but she restored my faith in human kindness.

That's nice to hear, divegirl (I'm the same size and looking like a shiny seal in a swimsuit is often on my agenda...)

It's hard isn't it Boxy, gone are the days of the size 14 wet suit.... I've nver exactly been small but I feel hugs atm.
I've been brave though, got a couple of body shaper swim suits that I still feel make me look like a badly stuffed sausage...Oh and a maxi dress that looks like an explosion in a Smarties factory.... But I'm sure the cocktails will help and sarongs are a wonderful thing!

I go for loose and floaty, but not too loose, otherwise it makes me look bigger than I really am!

It's not just about size Lisa...I felt the same the other week when I had to buy a swimsuit...The OH had to twist my arm up my back to buy one but I'd promised the grandkids I would take them swimming this summer. Haven't worn a swimsuit for about 16 years !
You'll look great so just enjoy the cocktails x
