Rolex watches

I've been lucky enough to be given a 1981 Rolex Datejust by my brother but need 6 stainless steel Jubilee Bracelet links to get it to fit. My endeavours to this end have proved fruitless so far. Rolex dealers near me only want to sell the whole watch and any I've tried on the net say the watch is too old to have any spares still available. However, it's such a good watch that I'll continue the hunt and perhaps friends on here may have a solution.

Do they have a collectors club someone might be selling broken watches for spares

A good quality leather/croc skin strap? More comfortable in hot weather....
