Foreign Coins

I collect for a charity and now have a load of foreign coins which my charity cannot use. The bank used to collect foreign coins for charity but doesn't any more does anyone know of a High Street shop or like that I may give these coins to?

Last time I was in my local branch of Barclays they had a collection box for them, not sure if its a Barclays Branch you tried though

Maybe weigh them in, scrap metal prices are at an high right now.
In my Sainsburys, at the cigarette kiosk they have a collecting tin in the shape of Sooty (as in Sooty & Sweep) that says on it 'Sooty likes foreign coins too!)
According to their web site, http://www.barnardos.org.uk, any of Barnardo's charirty shops will accept donations of foreign coins, and it says that they can turn them into cash.

THanks MAndy 22 it was a Barclays who did but now doesn't take FC for charities
I work in a Post Office and we take foreign currency that we send back as unusable coin. I exchange any coins for the value of the English coin they look like. eg an American quarter I would exchange for 10p, a 5 Euro cent coin I would exchange for 1p.
Our PO takes foreign coins for the RNLI - I took a big jar down to them a couple of weeks ago.
