My Boyfriends 30th is coming up and I am really struggling for ideas about what to get him.
I want to get him something special that he will remember. My budget is £1500.
He has recently purchased a nice new watch, so thats out and I have already planned a trip for his Birthday.
I would prefer an an object as opposed to a trip or activity.
Any help would be fab

Thats a lovely idea, but I am a keen photographer and already have an SLR that we both use, thanks for the idea though

How is he about wearing jewelery?
Something like a gold St. Christopher medalion that you could have engraved on the back.

How about a decanter and glasses? A pen? or piece of furniture - writing desk/bureau? grandfather clock?

How about 30 different things? These can range from the expensive (eg camera) to the silly (eg a bag of old fashioned sweets), and everything inbetween (eg CD, DVD, t-shirt).

has your boyfriend got a hobby or maybe one that he's always wanted to try... you could start him off. Otherwise, how about throwing him a surprise party... i did this for my boyfriends 30th birthday and found some old mates of his that he'd lost contact with.. i also invited family members who he had not seen for years because of the distance involved. You could make use of your camera for that special evening and put an album together for him, that will be something he could keep for a long time to come, including the memories.
