90th birthday present

Hi All - this is a difficult one. I want to buy a gift for a gentleman who will be 90 soon. He doesnt drink or smoke, and as he had a stroke he now has limited mobility. His mind is very active and alert.
When he was 80 we got him a photograph of his village from the 50's (I think) and he also had one of the newspapers from the day he was born. Any ideas would be apprevciated.

what about a nintendo ds lite with the brain training academy game, my grans in her 80's and loves it.
i know it's expensive but would a few of you be able to get together and all club in?

Subscription to a magazine. So many to choose from! History for example. W.H.Smith sell these.

Audio books are a good idea, or a digtal radio with his favourite stations pre-set for him
