a maxi dress to a party mid january and will obviously need a coat or similar over the top although i dont like the idea of wearing a coat can anyone give me ideas what I could wear on top just to keep warm until I get there?

a maxi coat would be idea,l madmaggot if I had one, dont really want to buy one dont think I will get much wear out of it, pasmina is a good idea as i have a couple of those thanks guys
