prom dress for my girlie..

yes, I love her lots but I think this is a bit pricey for a dress she'll only wear once. can anyone suggest something similar but not quite as pricey? or does anyone have a discount code for the site?

thank you :o)

HAHA sara,
are you starting spamming threads?

have you tried the ben de lisi range in debenhams?
lol, if i didn't know better Sara, id be convinced you were an advert. Especially after that Babelfish reply from Disc up there!

Have you tried looking on Ebay?

Don't need a nightie......have this & can be worn after - everyone needs their first LBD, you know it makes sense ;)

Oooo I like that one Tambo! Apart from the shoes, they're awful.
omg what are those shoes on that link?

they look like a heeled version of the navy blue things my nan (and the local elderly nuns) wear
sara (aka Imelda Marcos) has lots of sexy shoes - your fetish (own up). My d'ter wore similar dress but her boobs kept popping out.....v-popular ;)
Ouch, yes a bit pricey! That's probably the sort of money I would spend on a dress, but I tend to recycle them (if I don't ruin them on the first night out).

Debenhams are good - but you then run the risk of someone else turning up in the same dress.

I have found a couple of really good, and quite inexpensive dress agencies local to me where I used to get stuff. They tend to have different labels and I've never had anyone show up in the same dress. So why not try googling for that type of thing or look in a local newsletter. These agencies tend to be run by people from their front rooms or garden sheds and are not big on the advertising so you have to look around.
Can you rent ball gowns locally?

OMG, have you all reported me? lol!

thanks to all the non-spammers ;o)

I did think about the rental thing and will look into that if we're unsuccessful elsewhere. some good links (didn't like the shoes either!), and we'll have a proper look tonight.

tambo.. so rude!
When I was working in London I went to the Law Society ball (I think) and hired a ballgown, as we don't get much call to wear them in York.
lol.........at least am honest ;)
