Leather jacket smell!

I bought a leather jacket from Ebay which I love apart from the fact that is carries the smell of the previous owner which I really dislike!

I have tried washing it (even though I realise it should have had specialist care!) but to no avail, is there anything I can do other than take it to a professional cleaners and if this is the only way how much would it cost? Thanks

Surely if you washed it, you've ruined it, unless you mean you've wiped it down.

Specialist leather cleaning, which most dry cleaners can organise, will cost about £20 upwards.
