hi...

no i havent seen any websites....butt im a fashion student and i'll give you some basics
wear with warning:
brown and black
pink and green
red and green

can look good if colours are not strong/bright:
orange and blue
purple and yellow

white and black can be worn with anything prettymuch

stay away from clashing patterns: a patterened tie and patterened shirt is too much although a stripey shirt can look quite cool and quirky with a spotty tie if colours are well matched

a neutral colour shirt (black, white, grey, tan, brown) can look good with a brighter tie(blue, orange, purple) mix it up on personal taste

be carefull of trying to match the colour of shirt to tie as colours come in different shades as well as hues (eg. a lighter blue shirt would look good with a darker blue tie of the same hue but it wouldnt look so good with a tie with a more green hued blue)

also be carefull of the fabrics texture and sheen, a smooth texture shirt with a slight sheen is overkill with a shiny tie aswell. although a heavier fabric duller sheened shirt can look good with a tie with some inetest or sheen.

with checked shirts i always think it looks really smart when the tie colour is matched too the less obvious line in the check.

hope some of this helps

just remember what you wear and fashion should be fun and taken lightly...the best dressers have made the most mistakes.
