Seasonal

christmas post

does anyone know if there is post tomorrow? (sunday).
I'm waiting for a parcel and have tracked it to the local depot and wondered if the postal workers work tomorrow, with it being so near to christmas day.
thanks!

Hi,
There are no deliveries on Sunday but you still have Monday as it's a normal working day. After that it'll be Thursday before the next delivery.

Postman with a parcel - nah!!. Probably parcel force (yes part of Royal Mail, but they use contractors more than employed staff).

As for postmen working Sunday, don't you think (a) we have had enough to do over the past few weeks and (b) all those sunday papers clogging up the boxes will make it hard.

Beg to differ postdog - I had a Royal Mail delivery this morning - definitely not Parcel force - I was a bit taken aback - it was a package posted first class in Bradford on Friday 21st and brought by the normal postie at 10am this morning. Hope yours turned up crisgal - if not, there is always tomorrow!
