20 and 21 follow on from each other - 20. 'Swaddling Clothes' is written in a circle and 'shimhe' is in the centre 21. The '&' is written on its side at the top and 'manger' is written in a circle with 'him' in the centre I thought number 20 was 'You will find a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes' but if it's babe what is shimhe (him or she)? and number 21 'and lying him in a manger' again is the 'him' right? The bibles version for 21 is 'and lying in a manger' not lying HIM in a manger Can anyone either confirm that these are correct guesses or can anyone suggest something else?

Hi squarebear, I have been thinking about the SIMNE- do you think this could be NOEL. As Simne could be Simnel as in Simnel Cake - no L

It's more likely to be shortcake? Is shortcake Christmassy?

Sounds good squarebear. I will look into whether its christmassy. These are really doing my head in this year. I am usually pretty good at these but this is about the 6th or 7th year and I suppose the author has to look at different items. He does get very obscure sometimes. The toughest one is the one I have posted about the 6 different Santas. The position of these when they are written down is significant to the answer. Hope you can help. Thanks again.
