Diamond Wedding Anniversary

Has anyone any ideas for a diamond wedding anniversary for about 20 people. We fancied something a bit different like a brunch/champagne lunch as the parents arent well enough to do much. I have three weeks to come up with something.

already arranged a telegram from the queen.. easy done over the telephone as I didnt have the wedding certc. Cost £3 and the GRO did it all for me.

How about a proper old fashioned afternoon tea at a nice hotel - some offer a champagne version as well? Very civilised, a real treat, and it suits all ages. And if you want something special for the anniversary couple (and funds aren't an option) how about hiring a classic car and chauffeur to take them there?
