Christmas

under tree ideas

hi all, every year i put some fake snow under my xmas tree a train and train track ( xmas one ) going round the bottom of it. i am looking for some ideas as to what to put on top of the snow as it usually looks too white and bare.
any ideas?

my kids are older this year so should understand when i tell them not to touch unlike last year when my youngest thought he could swing off the tree branches lol

I'd love to know where you got your train set! Is it mains or battery operated?

Could you maybe get a toy farm, or some small houses and make a snowy village scene? or you could maybe find a mirror and some little figures and make an ice skating scene?

These would look good if the right scale, with snow on the roof and perhaps lights inside if you can fit some battery ones to them:
