Storing Christmas Decorations

Anybody have some good ideas about storing those fragile Xmas baubles? I'm tired of all sorts of boxes and bits of tissue paper wrapped around to stop them from smashing together. I still manage to lose a couple each year. Online, in USA they have clear perspex boxes with layers of corrugated plastic and seperators that can be moved around for different sizes. They have containers specially for trees, door wreaths, lights, you name it. Even nice sets of pull out drawers for wheeling around the tree. None want to send to UK, too bulky and therefore too pricey. Any tips please?

Did'nt lakeland plastics do something similar at christmas?
I am sure I have seen them somewhere, also possibly in one of the booklet things that distributors push through the front door every now and then.
Have you googled for them?

Hi, I once saw them in B & Q but didn't pay much attention. I've looked every year since then but nothing. When I asked Lakeland (store) they said they had nothing and Google brings up stuff in the US.
I made a big effort this year to search everywhere I could think of, I emailed the American companies to ask if they would ship but no luck. I reckon a shopping trip across the pond would be an option!

Definately a trip to the US then!
Dollar still very strong and there are Christmas shops there open all year round
We went to Amsterdam last year, and there a couple of lovely Christmas shops there, although it felt odd in May, walking round and choosing christmas decorations!

this is going to sound really strange but we use nappies. we have some fragile decorations that we dont want broke. we buy a pack of tesco value nappies. 98p for 28. and put special ones in these. they have extra protection and never brake.

I use a cardboard tube, it works well, no losses so far!
