biggest selling xmas single

does anyone know the biggest selling xmas single of all time? some websites are saying White Christmas & some Do they know it's Christmas - help!!

At a guess I would say White Christmas its been around longer and its used more that would be my answer.

The problem with 'White Christmas' is that it was originally released in 1942, before record sales were recorded.

If it helps, Band Aid is the 2nd best selling single ever (behind the re-recording of 'Candle In The Wind'). Before Princess Diana died, 'Do They Know It's Christmas' was at the top.
