Christmas

St. Nicholas Day

Does anyone else 'celebrate' St. Nicholas Day? My family does by hanging stockings on the 5th and when we get up on the 6th a little something is there. Mom always said if we got something Santa would come,, if there was nothing or coal and wood we better shape up or we'd be in trouble come Christmas. I know it is more popular in Europe than here in the states, so if you celebrate, what traditions do you have?
