Did a bit of shopping on amazon last year using relatives wish lists and it was much easier, but unfortunatly do have to shop on the high street as well so that is why this year I have insisted on doing ie before the country start its annual panic

Question Author

thanks for your replies everyone, i'm doing my shopping now as all my hubby's family lives in Kent and dont get to see them often, his mum is making the last trip this year up here 1st week in November and seeing as we have 7 neices & nephews all under 11 to buy for down there it is best for me to send xmas pressies down with his mum than spend a fortune in postage. I never buy adults gifts from woolies or boots 3 for 2 but with all the kids in the family & a 4 yr old of our own, the 3 for 2 toys come in very handy!

I'm with you velvet, my friend works in Boots, so every Xmas & birthday without fail i get some crappy gift set which probably barely cost her a fiver and she put zero thought into - and it's the thought that counts!

I do a lot of my xmas shopping from places like Iwantoneofthose.com, truffleshuffle.co.uk, and amazon. I was in Devon over the summer and picked up a couple of bits for people, cos i like to be organised. Christmas seems to be getting earlier every year though!
