That is hilarious.
the Mail prints a blurry flying saucer picture and writes "Artist's impression" undernerath.
So they got someone to mock up a UFO picture and deliberately make it blurry!
Then they print a picture of Birmingham - in case you're having trouble imagining what it looks lke.
And then if that's still too highbrow for you they help out with a cartoon version!
You might almost start to suspect they're not taking it 100% seriously!

??????????????????????????

If space is infinite, then there's intelligent life.
If space is just very, very, very, very, very, very, big ...
... then maybe there isn't.
But why would their intentions be any different from ours?
Which is to say ... curiosity !!

I think you are confusing UFO's with alien spacecraft MsEVP.
Of course UFO's exist !

Same reason we go to zoos and safari parks
to view the less intelligent beings in their habitat.

Well certainly life like us.
There are a few places in our solar system where we still might find living or fossilized micro-organisms.
I know that's not as exciting as a silver flying saucer landing in Hyde Park but it would still be just about the most important discovery since Darwin.
Right now we can't be sure we're not a one off - life certainly appeared suspiciously quickly on Earth which suggests that life is very common in the Universe but we don't know.
Most arguments are based on incredulity "The Universe is so big how could we be the only ones here"
But neither of these two arguments come anywhere near proof.
If we found evidence for the formation of life independent of the Earth so close to home it would be an almost sure sign that the Universe is full of it.
Incidently we could recognise life without it being intelligent just by examining the light of a suitable planet. One of the hallmarks of life is it is "handed"
Certain molecules come in left or right handed versions that are mirror images. If they are created by life they are overwhelmingly in one of the two "isomers" if not you tend to get an even mix.
We may yet know

Question Author
Well, thanks everyone for taking the time to give some feedback. I should have thought that, removing the rubbish of the Birmingham picture and mockup UFO picture, the opinions of all the professional experts involved, (including Nick Pope who doesn`t make remarks like the ones quoted lightly) were worthwhile taking into consideration.
Actually, I go along with Jayne`s idea of Curiosity!

I agree with doc there is no way with all the trillions of stars and their satelites around them are we alone it is impossible that we are

Well I dont think i said that quite right but I think you know what I meant

is'nt it obvious? ufo's are actually time machines, they come have a look and go back from whence they came, the reason they cant come down land, mingle etc... is that they would disturb the fabric of time leading to disaster!

What would it take to convince a skeptic that alien spacecraft exist?
Anything can be faked with modern technology.
