So, is this the end of the world?

What is the story with this hadron experiment next week, are we all gonna be sucked into a black hole?

Would love to say I have a better understanding of this collider having watched BBC 4 tonight but...

it sent me, and Mr R, off to sleep .....

If they create a black hole it will take about 4 years to turn the earth inside out and continue on and destroy the universe.

All say omg....then forget about it, cos they are turning it on anyway.....

All scaremongering. The experiment they are doing is merely a re creation of what is happen above our heads in the sky all the time as cosmic rays hit the atmosphere.

Rabbitygirl, your figure of 4 years brings us up to the end of time as the Mayans knew it when they stopped their calendar. Did you know that?

My Mom old me about this and she got all flustered and told me the end of the world is coming!

Parents eh, drama queen!

Surely if its as dangerous as they make out, someone would put a stop to it.....wouldn't they?!
