maths graph question

My son has had to draw a graph for homework that shows a boys height on his birthday fom age 2 to 19. He now has to identify three key features of the graph and explain what they mean. What are the key features of graphs? THANKS

It depends on what the graph looks like. Presumably it shows an upward trend with periods of rapid growth plus periods when rate of growth slows down. Maybe height levels off at age 17/18.
Could comment on all those. Could also make the obvious comment that height always increses or stays the same over any period but never falls

You need to look at what the graphed information shows eg does height increase steadily in proportion to age; does the graph show a rapid increase at an earlier age quartile or a later age quartile; does the graph show periods of slow growth if so during what years.

What age is your son. Maybe if it's primary school work tehy just want him to comment on what the axes mean, what the curve/line shows and a brief comment on teh graph's shape as mentioned in posting above
