Intense gravity pulls in all the matter in all directions, and the result is a sphere. Smaller objects such as asteroids and comets do not have enough internal gravity and so remain odd-shaped.

It is unlikely that Pluto is round.

Mind you, it is probably not a planet either.

God made them round because he needs good marbles at the intergalactic marbles championship. Zeus is sure to win though.....he uses the Sun!
