Is it possible to put a programme from a Sky box on to a DVD?

I’m assuming that I will need a recordable DVD player.
And if the programme is recorded with subtitles, would these automatically transfer to the DVD?

And on a completely different subject, I sometimes see text on AB that is grey, rather than black, for emphasis. How is this done? I have tried cutting and pasting text to AB in grey or italics, but it just posts in regular black.

Thanks.

I'll just answer the second bit:

The first thing to note about using italic text on AB is that it only works once in each post. If you try to do it twice you'll probably get a rather odd result!

However the trick is simply to type [i] before and after the text which you want in italics.
You can record from a Sky Box but not from Box Office pay to view programmes, sport or film. A simple way is to use the RF out on the box to RF in on the DVD player.
I have my boxes connected to dvd recorders via scart.

I don't use Box Office, but can record anything unless its copyprotected - but one dvd recorder ignores that and records.

As for subtitles, if you turn them on you can then record them.
