According to Islam, encoded in the Koran, there is no such thing as "moderate Islam". The term itself is an oxymoron. According to the Koran, you're either a muslim or you're not. The Koran is explicitly binary in its definition of what is 'Islamic' and what is not. There is no 'Islam-light'.

The very idea that there is some kind of 'moderate Islam' is completely absurd. Given the nature and narrative content of the Koran, the only true Islam is intolerance, violence and hatred of non-muslims. There is no other valid interpretation. The Koran says so without equivocation. It unambiguously states that it is the final word of God and that it cannot be changed, amended, reinterpreted or otherwise 'corrupted' - if the texts say something is so, it is so.

That is the message of the Koran. It is figuratively written in stone. The practices it endorses as 'good' are good for all times and in all places and the practices it denounces as 'bad' are bad for all times and in all places. For a muslim to believe otherwise is to be in direct contradiction with their own faith. For a muslim who is aware of such concepts, to speak otherwise is to engage in taqiyya.

And 'taquiyya' is where the likes of Keyplus chose to dwell.
