Retrieve Photo's From Google+ Back Up

I have recently had to restore my laptop to factory condition and as a consequence lost all photographs stored in "My Pictures". Luckily all my photo's have been backed up in Google+.

Please could someone advise me if it is possible to transfer all of my photo's back to "My Pictures" en mass as it would take for ever to do this on a one by one basis.

If this is possible please could you advise the step by step process.

Your pictures will be stored either as one big album or as several smaller ones (depending upon how you uploaded them to Google+). You can download an entire album of pictures by following the instructions here:
