I don't know the percentages of Muslims and Christians in Kenya. But if they're close to 50,50 then these outrages are designed to polarise society and set the scene for civil war.

O.P. Simple - they are not their type of Islamic worshippers. They may be Christians, Jews, Jains, Hindus - any religion you can name. They are not Muslims (as this group believes) so they can be killed with impunity. The Koran says that you must not kill; but that only means other believers, others are not real people. Christians, for example, are, therefore, fair game - they are not 'people'. How long is it going to take to get this message through? These teenagers also committed the 'crime' of learning to think freely - out of the tramway of Islamic faith.
