I think barry 123 is a very clever answer but it states quite clearly on the Quizz that anagrams are in italics, and this isn't!! Oh my! - it's head-holding time!

I think you will find that this isn't a straight anagram. If it was, then the answer would simply be SEALS.

No, This is a reverse question where you have to provide the clue that leads to the answer given. In this case, the clue 'Performing seals' leads to the answer SALES

As chris says, it is like the GEGS clue.

I would go with it if I were you.
