After my question below, this well fed family, two youngish sisters, mum and dad... Girls also 'sang' on X Factor, and the whole family were in Neighbours from Hell, yes they were the NFH. Why do people need to live their lives on reality TV?? Only watching TV today as off sick by the way!!! Yes I do seem to watch a lot .....

Not sure which other question you are referring to smurf, but it would seem that one exposure on reality raises your profile, so other producers come looking for you for their own turn-outs.
What is your question?

They actually came across much better than other guests.
They get to be on telly, have a day out paid for, free booze and food. What's not to like? ;)
I think they do it because they find it fun, Smurf - a day of being important, free food, drink and getting to meet a lot of celebrities. They become celebrities themselves for a while, amongst their friends and neighbours. I don't see that it does any harm. Why wouldn't they, if that is what they like doing.
But their celebrity will be among people like themselves, the rest of the country probably thinks they're dreadful. Andy Warhol foresaw the dreaded reality celebrity with his 15 minutes of fame comment.
Even if the rest of the country do think they are dreadful (and I think we would be wrong just to assume this), the rest of the country don't have to look at them. It's easy to avoid watching reality shows if you don't like the people who appear on them.
I saw 'em this morning too and I remember thinking that things were obviously looking up from them as i'd previously read they were living in their car!
I remember reading about this family
They were going to get a dog to help them lose weight
They'd probably eat the poor thing
