Do those people on there get paid for the TV crew being in their homes?

Wow, cheap at half the price.
Ooh! Which one do you know, ferlew?

Jenny, (caravan outside Hull) she was the landlady in my village pub. Lord knows who Lee is .
That must have been a surprise for you. They said they had been friends for 20 years.
I always thought they would have a web cam sort of arrangement rather than a film crew in each home.
All I know is that it would be easier for me to watch if the big lass would stop slurping at that Pot Noodle container.
It's not just cameras in the home. Each household is filmed over one day so the crew have to bring the videos for them to watch, they have to change clothes and snacks between takes, they are sometimes fed quips when they have nothing to say and of course there are retakes.

Webcam on top the telly? Not on your nelly

Chrissa, it was, her and her hubby had ran the pub the last 13/14 years. His name wasn't Lee !!
I've haven't watched the show, but seen a couple of trailers. I never believed the things they say were genuine and spontaneous. It looks like a set-up. Thanks for confirming, hc4361.
Have just become addicted to this show.
How does the lady who eats the Pot Noodle clean her ass with all that mad jewellery on her fingers.
Very, very carefully!
I want to stay at the posh couples B&B, and kidnap their dog...
Yes the wealthy couple are very funny - in the beginning I loved the wee dog but does it really need to sleep so much.

Last night it lifted his wee head as if it was drunk and promptly went to sleep again. Do think it needs stimulation.

All my dog does in the evening is sleep....he's a lunatic for the rest of the day.
thank god Mr Harv slept at the right time - active right up to 10.30 pm apart from wee dozes - then all night - he was great.
I'd love to know how you know all this, hc4361. If they are "fed" quips, they all deserve Oscars for their acting ability.

"Retakes" ??????

Again, they must all be fabulous actors and not just members of the public, Leon being 80, and perform "retakes" with ease.
