Thanks ljdksa, I'd thought about DEPUTED but I really didn't think that it meant 'committed to'. I suppose PUT = 'substitute position' so I'll have to study the dictionary some more
you're welcome. "committed to" = put and if you put that in"deed", you get "deputed". Which is substitute. Hope that made sense!
