Can anyone recommend any Crossword Creation Software?

After many years as a solver, I would like to try my hand at creating crosswords. A quick Google shows many options with various pricing.

I would also want to concentrate on the English barred grid style rather than the American style with hugely intersecting answers ( if you know what I mean ).

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced product that they use?

I'm posting quite late here, so I'll pick up any responses tomorrow night.

Okay... I am still about.

Umm.... £59 seems a little dear to try on spec. Is the demo a good indication of the full product? If so I'll download it now to try tomorrow night.

Actually... I've downloaded the demo and I can tell already from the options given that it looks fantastic. I will play around with it tomorrow night. Thanks for the quick response.
